“La Stanza dello Scirocco” Wall Clock (Black) – Alessi

Description La Stanza dello Scirocco wall clock by Alessi is made of stainless steel coated with epoxy resin in black. The irregular shapes of the hexagonal clock face and the surrounding tiles create spaces and generate light and shade effects that add magic and dynamism to the object. The inspiration of the design was born out of the abstract and motionless atmosphere of a magic place: A room in large Sicilian country homes where one is forced to seek shelter from the sultriness while waiting for the sirocco to die down. This shelter is a room without windows in which you can do nothing but ponder the wind that is undoing all sublunary things outside. The upshot is a collection of geometrically irregular items made up of small splinters of various sizes, interlaced in an unstable balance. A magical wall décor item with a rustic sensation that will stand out in any modern interior.
