Description The blades are specially coated with TICN (Titanium Carbon Nitride) to extend blade life. Among the common applications of these blades include thin wall tubing, stainless steel applications, RPM and higher feed saws and other high strength materials. The TICN coating is designed to ensure better wear resistance when higher heats are generated. Recommended Procedure for Cold Saw Blade Maintain regular cold saw blade speed to suit the material to be cut Reduce blade feed pressure or feed rate by 50% for the first 300 to 600 square centimetres of material cut Gradually increase feed pressure or feed rate after break in to full pressure rate Attachments (PDF)
