Product Description Cornflower Centaurea Cyanus Tall Double Ball Blue Packet contents: approx 440 organic seeds Cornflower is a very popular border flower and very easy to grow. This deep blue double flowered variety will bloom throughout the summer and into late autumn. In maturity it will reach height of up to 80 cm so will look great at the back of the border. Will make a great cut flower, too. Sowing: Sow the seeds in containers of fine compost under cover in early spring at temperature of approximately 20°C to 25°C. Germination will take between 7 and 14 days. Once the seedlings have developed true leaves, pot them on. The young plants can be planted out once all danger of frost has passed. Alternatively, the seeds can be sown direct in flowering position in late spring and early summer. Flowers: From July to September/October Tip: Cornflowers are the perfect flowers to be grown by kids or beginners.
